On Saturday, August 11, 2012, we held the Inaugural Silence of Mary Home 5K run/walk, at Adam Ricci Park in Enola. It was a warm but dry morning, temperatures were in the low 70's and we had over (70) participants who completed the 3.1 mile loop course. There were lots of Door Prizes and plenty of after race food and beverages. The overall winners received cash awards while the age bracket winners received an engraved beverage glass. The overall male winner was Pat Noll with a time of 17' 27"; the overall female winner was Nicole Cassel in 21' 25". All participants went home with t-shirts and a smile.

With your help, after expenses we netted over $1,000. This money will go directly to help operate the Silence of Mary homes in the Harrisburg area with food and other necessities.

Save the date, the 2nd annual Silence of Mary HOME 5K run/walk will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, at 8AM, in Adam Ricci Park. Registration form is being developed.
